Make Believe

I LOVE that Molly has a vivid imagination and that she loves to do a lot of Pretend Play... but... it can be exhausting!!!  It is only 9:30 in the morning and so far Molly has dressed me up in no less then 10 different dress up outfits, and she has tried on more like 20. So far this morning we have played:

She is the baby, I'm the Mommy
She is the Mommy, I am the Baby
She is CInderella, I am Prince Charming
She is Cinderella, I am Fairy Godmother
She is a Mouse, I am a Cat
She and I are both Hula Girls
She is Miss Clarissa (her teacher), I am Henry ( a classmate)
She is a Target employee and I am shopping there
She is Princess, I am a Witch
She is a Ballerina, I am Miss Susan (her dance teacher)

I am sure I am leaving a few scenarios! It is sooooo funny, but by nap time I am very, very ready to be back in reality and not pretend world!

Here is Molly as a Princess Hula Witch!

Little Molly and Little Ava

I love looking at these old videos! I almost can't remember her being so little!

A blast from the past.... boo hoo!

Seeing if this works... I've had this on my computer forever. No clue how to upload off my new video camera:(

If this does work- this is an OLD video of sweet baby Molly learning to wave. She was maybe 5 months old here? Waaaaah! She is so big now!!!

More dancing photos!

Molly thinks she is really a pro after her second week of ballet. She walked right on up, go in her line, checked in and stood on her number- all by herself. Big girl. This time I could peek, but she gave me a full report! They stretched, twirled and did a "butterfly dance" where she flapped her wings and flew around with all the other littler girls. We ended the morning with Milam in the park. We all know that Molly is hopelessly in love with Milam so this was a big treat. And this time Molly was really in heaven because Milam initiated some hand holding and called her Honey Bunny again as well as Molly Baby. Ha!

Molly on her way to dance. She ASKED me to take some pictures- she feels so cute in her outfit!

Making the most of the rain!

Despite 3 days of non-stop rain and my AWFUL allergies, we had a really fun day! Molly LOVES LOVES LOVES to cook/bake, so we made some brownies- yum! Molly is actually a great assistant in the kitchen! She is great at pouring and mixing and never spills:) Then Molly went for a splash in the puddles before her bath. I swear she could have been out there for hours. I bet we'll do it again tomorrow afternoon- this rain is supposed to keep on coming!

Hard at work!
Rain boots and swimsuit. Just realized Molly is missing a bow! A first!!!!

How CUTE is this little backside?!?

Dancing Angel

Another Big Day for Miss Molly: her first day of ballet! It was a HUGE success! Molly has been yapping about Dancing Angels for weeks and the day finally came. The class is precious. Her teacher could not be any sweeter! They left the door open so us eager moms could spy/ take pics and it was a hoot! The girls stretched, practiced standing on their numbers, learned some poses and then danced in a big circle. The program is Christian, so the girls are also getting the wonderful message of praising the Lord with their bodies and through dance. I', already counting down the days until her recital in May- ha!

All ready to go!

The story behind this shot is so funny. Her teacher was showing us Moms how to tie the shoes just right and grabbed a girl to demonstrate. Molly just had to rush up and be part of the action. Teachers Pet-ha!
Sneaking a peak...

It was such a fun surprise that Alexandra, who is in Molly's preschool class is also in her dance class! They are comparing shoes...
I love these shots through the door. It is so funny to see her in action!

Too funny!

So, I have been playing around on the net and found the FUNNIEST thing! If you upload a photo to instyle.com, you can try out different hair and makeover looks! So- I had to do some of Molly! SO funny!

I certainly hope Molly never goes through a GOTH rebellion- not too cute on her!
A classic red lip never goes out of style!
This one reminds me of the creepy pageants. Like that TLC show Toddlers and Tiaras!
I'll try to post some of the funny ones later. After all this I sure think Molly is cutest just the way she is!

1st Day of School!

Today was a big day for us! Molly started preschool! She had been very very excited for this day, and his morning she was so ready to start. She goes Tuesday and Thursday mornings... for a whopping 6 hours a week- ha!

The Schoolgirl
Showing off her elephant backpack
The backpack is still awfully big on her
Close up of the precious dress I had made for her- a pink and green school house with "Molly"!
She is READY!
Kyle went with us for the big morning and took some paparazzi pics of us walking in!

Almost there...
She made a bee-line for the toys!
She walked right in and asked a little girl her name... she has been so excited to meet her new friends. I got to spy on her on the playground and she was having an absolute blast! I think it will be a great year! Her teacher, Miss Clarissa is extremely nice and fun, and she is in a small class of just 8 kiddos- 3 girls and 5 boys. She'll attend Chapel, Music Time and all sorts of fun things this year. She's growing up!
